Years and years ago, I had a dream that I was in a diner in the middle of nowhere. The woman who ran the place served steaming bowls of primordial soup, which she got directly from a hole in her kitchen where the primordial soup of creation hadn't yet hardened. The soup was known for its rejuvenative qualities. This dream has stuck with me all these years. This blog is my attempt to follow the path that leads me to Flora's Pond, to find what feeds my body and soul. I hope you enjoy it.

Something New
I had some leftover clay and a styrofoam ball, so I started this. Right now, I know it has long legs and flat feet, in a rather Seussian manner. It might anything and will probably be a combination of several animals. I think it will have someone riding on its back, maybe an imp or something. A saddle would be fun, I think. It's only about 8" tall. I wanted to glob some clay on there and let it dry a bit, so I can set the feet position better. It's still a bit unstable on its big flipper feet. Might be fun if it had webbed feet!
